Bournemouth
& District Cats Protection

The
Bournemouth and District Branch of Cats Protection was formed in 1970
and has steadily grown in size. It has a number of foster homes with
pens in the gardens and others who take cats into their homes until
suitable permanent homes can be found for them.
In
2008 , the Bournemouth & District Cats Protection rehomed 514
cats. 322 of our Cats were given vet care and we helped with vet care
on a further 246 not in our care. In addition, a critical part of
the Cats Protection work is in the neutering
of both male and female cats. In 2008 the Bournemouth & District
Cats Protection helped to neuter 2506 cats (including our £5
promotions). We also microchipped 480 cats and vaccinated 562. Our
lost & found service also
reunited 65 cats with their owners.
Bournemouth
and District Cats Protection Branch covers East Dorset and West Hampshire
stretching from Swanage and Wareham to Lymington and north to Cranborne,
Verwood and Fordingbridge, incorporating all areas in between including
Wimborne, Poole, Bournemouth, Ringwood and Christchurch.
Why
not join us? For just £7 a year you can become a Cats Protection
member and
get our quarterly newsletter or help
us in other numerous ways.
