Volunteering

Cats Protection need volunteers to help in all sorts of ways.

Here are some ways in which you could help:-

Fostering

We often need people to foster cats on a short-term basis. This could mean erecting a cat pen in your garden or giving up your spare room for one or more cats.

Home Visitors

Before any of our cats are rehomed a home visit must be carried out. This ensures the new home and owners are suitable for the chosen cat. If you are a good judge of character and have a tactful nature, why not join us as a home-visitor.

Work in our shop

We need volunteers to work in our shop. If you think you could help out, give us a call.

Give a cat a lift

Do you own a vehicle? The cats in our care often need to be taken to the vets or transported to their new home. If you can spare a little time and your car, we'd love you to help us.

Fund Raising

We rely on fund-raising to help the cats in our care. We are always interested in people who can give a little of their time to help raise funds by assisting at our events or why not organize your own event and donate the proceeds to us?

If you would like to volunteer your services in any of these ways please contact Frank on (01202) 579468.
